Learning to Forgive
The third step in healing from unmet expectations is to forgive. Sometimes, you need to forgive others, sometimes you need to forgive yourself, and sometimes you need to forgive God. Unforgiveness hurts its beholder above all else, and you have to let that go. Even if they (or you) were in the wrong, you must let it go.
